Communications Overview:

Lakewood Electric Ltd. provides installation, repair, testing, and maintenance on all communications and data networking systems including copper and fibre optic networks for voice, data, and video systems.

Communication Services Include:

  • Resolve, repair, and install fiber optics systems.
  • Examine and replace faulty and/or old fiber optic cables.
  • Installation of fiber optic cabling in tray, conduit and/or overhead.
  • Terminate multi-mode and single-mode fiber optic cabling using fusion splicing, mass fusion splicing, and/or mechanical connectors.
  • Install splice cones and/or splice trays to facilitate signal breakouts in various areas.
  • Test and troubleshoot fiber optic cabling through fiber loss and/or OTDR testing.
  • Installation of all category network cabling.
  • Label and organize communication system.
  • Test data cabling and confirm integrity and functionality.
  • Organize scheduled maintenance routines.
  • Manage fiber splicing and rectify fiber optic problem areas.

At the start of the project, we will decommission the necessary services, followed by the demolition and removal of old infrastructure.

We install the necessary infrastructure and equipment with precision, guided by our expertise and your specifications.
